Planning a family session should be as stress-free as the portrait session itself. Here are common questions we receive from families just like yours planning their session.
What is your pricing transparency?
I believe in clear, upfront pricing. My session fees and package options are clearly listed on my services page with no hidden costs or surprises.
What is included in the session?
The session fee covers the pre-consultation, the shoot duration, and high-end artistic editing of your final gallery selection. The number of images delivered depend on the package of your choice.
How do I prepare the kids?
Comfort is important. Keep routines normal, bring snacks, and let them play, let them be themselves is key. I focus on natural interaction rather than forced smiles to capture their true personalities. Promise them something they like after finishing the session, like an ice-cream, they will give them something to look forward to.
What should my family wear?
Coordinate, match is not mandated anymore. I recommend soft neutrals, earthy tones, and subtle textures that complement each other and the scenic Florida backdrop. Avoid distracting florals, big logos or stamps
What if we need to reschedule?
Life happens, especially with little ones. I offer flexible rescheduling for illness or increment weather with at least 24 hours notice. Any other reasons will have rescheduling fees. Give our booking policies a look for more detailed information.
What is the turnaround time?
You will receive your full professionally edited digital gallery ready for viewing within 1 week of your session. Sometimes this is much faster depending on work-load.
Where do sessions take place?
I love the natural light in Weston's beautiful local parks and the silver sun at Fort Lauderdale's scenic beaches for family portraits. I am open to other locations with prior coordination.
Prints vs Digital Files?
I provide both! Every package includes high-resolution digital files, and I also provide access to premium heirloom-quality canvases. wall-displays and albums for printing.
